# Amazon Bedrock adds global cross‑Region inference for OpenAI GPT‑6 models

Amazon Bedrock now offers three OpenAI GPT‑6 models—Sol, Luna and Astra—through global cross‑Region inference. The service lets developers in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan call the models from their local AWS region while the request is processed in any supported Bedrock region. You configure this by using a special inference profile ID instead of a model ID, and billing, quotas and logs stay in the source region.
