AWS HealthOmics now lets you share a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with other AWS accounts using AWS Resource Access Manager. The service puts each account’s bioinformatics workflows into the shared subnets, so you no longer need separate VPC peering or duplicate PrivateLink endpoints. This works in every region where HealthOmics is offered, including US East, US West, Europe, Israel and APAC. The change is aimed at organizations that run many accounts but want a single, centrally managed network.

## The facts

- Feature announced on 2026-10-15
- Available in all HealthOmics regions (US East, US West, Europe, Israel, APAC)

## Why it matters

Researchers can run genomic pipelines in their own accounts while relying on a single, centrally managed network, saving time and reducing infrastructure costs.
