Design platform Canva announced its first in‑house image generation model, Canva Craft. The model can turn a text prompt into a 2,000‑pixel image in any of 30 aspect ratios. It works in two steps: first it plans the layout, then it renders the picture. ## How Canva Craft works

Canva trained the model on its own library of human‑designed templates – posters, social posts, presentations, menus and typography‑heavy layouts – instead of on photographs.
