Entravision’s AI radio host Coyotec now cohosts Al Aire y Sin Permiso on Los Angeles station José 97.5 FM, alongside broadcaster Geraldine “GeeGee” Guzman. The show moved from a one-hour Saturday slot to weekday mornings, 8 to 10 a.m., and was syndicated in five markets across California, Nevada and Texas.

Entravision says its Nielsen ratings showed Hispanic listenership in Los Angeles rose 21.6 percent from August to September 2026; listeners aged 18 to 34 rose 84.9 percent. Coyotec speaks Spanish and English and can respond to Guzman in real time, but cannot take calls or answer listeners on air.

## The facts

- Coyotec debuted with a solo weekend show in September 2025.
- Entravision says Hispanic female listeners aged 18 to 34 increased 500 percent from August to September 2026.

## Why it matters

For listeners in the five markets, Coyotec brings an AI voice into weekday radio alongside a human host; the figures are Entravision’s ratings, and the story does not establish whether the growth will last.
