The developer behind Mica v0.1 says the test took about eight minutes of game time. Mica received text describing the game state and chose from candidate commands; a separate Mineflayer bot carried them out. The bot was given the location of nearby diamonds, so it did not have to search for them.

The developer plans to release the Minecraft harness and says a newer Mica version is expected in one to two weeks. The post cautions that the model is not playing Minecraft by itself, and says more complex tasks such as building a house may be difficult.
