SolarWinds Worldwide LLC announced Avior, a new AI agent that runs as its own application on the SolarWinds Platform. The system handles first‑line IT tasks such as merging related alerts, detecting unauthorized configuration changes and retiring outdated device records. It uses deterministic execution – a fixed set of goals and approval controls – so each run produces the same result and every action is logged. Risky actions require explicit human approval and run with the initiating user’s permissions. Avior is available now through a guided onboarding program; pricing was not disclosed.

## The facts

- Launch date: 2026-10-14 (“SolarWinds… unveiled Avior… Wed Oct 14 2026”)
- Avior can automatically restore the last‑known‑good configuration on critical devices

## Why it matters

IT teams can reduce outage time by letting Avior safely automate routine alerts and config fixes while keeping full audit trails.
