Amazon GuardDuty ने Runtime Monitoring के लिए वैकल्पिक डिटेक्शन नियम पेश किए हैं। EC2 instances, EKS clusters और ECS containers पर प्रोसेस, फ़ाइल और नेटवर्क गतिविधियों पर नज़र रखने वाले 50 से अधिक नियम चालू किए जा सकते हैं। इस अपडेट में चार नए finding types जोड़े गए हैं, जिनमें CommandAndControl:Runtime/SuspiciousCommand और CredentialAccess:Runtime/SensitiveFileRead शामिल हैं। नियमों को पहले dry-run mode में चलाया जा सकता है और फिर live detection के लिए चालू किया जा सकता है। यह सुविधा सभी commercial AWS Regions और AWS GovCloud (US) में उपलब्ध है।
