# Mistral、Mistral Large 4のパブリックプレビューを公開

Mistralは本日、新モデル「Mistral Large 4（ML4）」のパブリックプレビューを、Mistral Studio APIを通じて提供開始したと発表した。プレビューはすぐに試すことができ、同社は月末までにモデルのウェイトを公開する予定だ。ML4は1兆パラメーターのモデルで、アクティブパラメーターは490億。テキスト、コード、画像を扱えるよう設計されている。

## ここに至るまで

ML4は、Mistralの欧州データセンターにあるNVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPU 3,800基を使い、一から学習させた。学習データは160以上の言語を含み、EUのすべての公用語を網羅している。Mistralによると、このモデルはすでに多くのベンチマークで最も高性能なオープンソースモデルに並ぶ性能を示し、特にサイバーセキュリティ、金融、法律関連のタスクでは、米国や欧州のほかのオープンウェイトモデルを上回っている。

## 今後の予定

最終版のウェイト公開に先立ち、同社はサイバーセキュリティ関連のパートナーや各国当局とレッドチームテストを続ける。ウェイト公開後、顧客はML4をプライベートクラウドやオンプレミス環境で実行できるようになる。EU法に準拠して運用される、欧州専用のデプロイメントも利用可能となる。Mistralはまた、最近の30億ユーロのシリーズD資金調達を受け、業界固有のワークロードに特化したML4のバージョンを開発する計画だ。
