Ambi, founded by former Plaud exec Peter Mo, said on Monday it closed a $26 million funding round led by Luminous Ventures and Huaqin. The startup is releasing iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch apps that act as meeting note‑takers and can stay on all day to collect context. Mo says the AI agent will surface suggestions during meetings based on your calendar, knowledge base and web data, and you can move tasks between devices. The company also plans a hardware device with a screen, speaker, camera and microphones.
Why it matters
If the apps work as promised, professionals could get real‑time assistance during meetings without manual note‑taking.
