Amazon Bedrock now lets you use Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5 and Claude Sonnet 5 models in the Seoul region and Claude Sonnet 5 in Singapore. The inference runs entirely inside the chosen AWS region, so prompts and results never leave that region. This is aimed at customers with strict data‑residency rules, such as banks or hospitals. You can access the models through the Bedrock console, the InvokeModel and Converse APIs, or Anthropic’s Messages API.
The feature is available on the bedrock-runtime endpoint and follows the regular on‑demand pricing for each region.
