Apple has made Siri Recap and Live Rewind available in the iOS 27.3 developer beta for Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4. Both features are off by default and require users to opt in.
Siri Recap creates meeting notes with key points, while Live Rewind keeps a rolling audio buffer so users can call up a transcript of the previous 15 seconds. Apple says Live Rewind processes audio on the watch, and unused audio is automatically deleted. Recaps that users don’t save are deleted after seven days.
Why it matters
For people who want quick notes or a reminder of something they missed, the features offer those tools on the watch, but they must be enabled and Apple has not provided a public release date beyond the developer beta.
