Cloudflare announced that its security team is using OpenAI's Daybreak system to investigate discovered vulnerabilities and draft remediation suggestions. The same team also uses OpenAI Codex – an AI that can write and refactor code – to speed up development and raise code quality. The company says the AI assistance helps them respond to threats faster and produce cleaner patches.

Why it matters

Faster bug fixes could reduce the time cloud services remain exposed to attackers.
