Cognition and MongoDB have added the Devin code‑transformation tool to MongoDB’s Application Modernization Platform (AMP). Devin rewrites business logic and data‑access code, while AMP moves and validates the data. The combined service promises to cut migration times from years to months, freeing engineers to focus on new features. Early tests show a task that took five to six hours now finishes in just over an hour.
