EU launches tender to set up a three‑year European AI Observatory

The European Commission published a call for tenders on 2026-10-05 to create the European AI Observatory. The observatory will monitor AI uptake in key sectors, publish sector‑specific reports and host an interactive website with indicators on AI investment, patents, talent and infrastructure. The contract will cover setup and operation for three years. Interested firms can apply via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
