Generative Bionics announced a plan to create a three‑site Physical AI Data Factory network. The first site will be a 5,000‑square‑metre facility in Italy, slated to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2027. The hub will collect robot sensor data and run digital‑twin simulations on AMD Helios high‑performance AI computers. The goal is to train and validate humanoid robots for industrial use entirely in Europe.

Why it matters

European manufacturers could test and deploy industrial humanoid robots without relying on non‑European data or AI services.
