Keeper adds AI phishing warnings to its browser extension

Keeper Security’s new optional feature warns users before they enter passwords on look‑alike or spoofed sites, running entirely on the device.

Keeper Security announced Phishing Protection, an opt‑in add‑on to its Keeper Browser Extension (v18.2.0). The on‑device AI scans pages for look‑alike domains, hidden login fields and other tricks used by credential‑harvesting sites. When it finds a suspect page, it shows a warning and lets users view the threat details or dismiss it. The feature is disabled by default but can be turned on by individuals or enabled centrally by IT admins.

Why it matters

It helps employees avoid giving passwords to AI‑generated phishing sites, reducing the risk of credential‑based breaches.
