The ggml‑org/llama.cpp project released version b11551 on Oct 10 2026. The update adds native support for the MiniCPM-V 4.7 model and introduces a new rope.section_order metadata field. It also fixes comment handling, CI scripts and removes an unused 3‑D repository. Several contributors signed off the changes.

Why it matters

Developers can now run MiniCPM‑V 4.7 locally with llama.cpp, expanding the range of lightweight models they can experiment with.
