AWS announced that GPT-6.1 Sol from OpenAI can run in Ultrafast mode on Amazon Bedrock. The new mode speeds up inference for tasks where response time is critical, such as real‑time coding assistants, interactive agents, and customer‑facing chat. Users can enable it through the Bedrock console or its APIs. AWS says the service includes the usual security, governance and audit features of Bedrock.
