Sardine, a risk‑management platform, launched Sardine AI Labs, an applied research group that will explore how AI can detect and stop fraud. At the same time the company is offering up to five research fellowships that together provide $375,000 for independent scholars. Applications open now and the lab will focus on learning the language of financial behavior and predicting new attacks.
The lab and funding could speed up AI tools that help banks and fintechs spot fraud earlier.
