Snowflake announced today that its private‑preview Snowflake Decision service now includes a faster version called snowflake‑decision‑fast. The new model returns structured answers – categories, scores or yes/no probabilities – within about 300 ms. Snowflake also opened a REST API via the Cortex AI Gateway, so applications outside SQL can call the model directly. The company says the speed enables live ticket routing, fraud checks and other latency‑sensitive tasks.
