Cadence announced a new AI data center in Munich. The site combines Cadence OnCloud, NVIDIA Vera, NVIDIA Grace CPUs, the Cadence Reality digital‑twin platform, and the Cadence Millennium M2000 supercomputer built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPUs. The company says this is the first sovereign AI platform in Europe for semiconductor, system and AI‑factory design. Customers can run design workloads on the European site instead of sending data to non‑EU clouds.

Why it matters

European chip designers can use advanced AI tools while keeping data within EU borders.
