Deezer announced it is building a toggle that will filter out AI‑generated songs, albums and artists from a user’s search results. The company says the option will be live before the end of 2026. CEO Alexis Lanternier said the move follows a survey where about 45% of Deezer users asked for a way to remove AI music. Deezer’s own data showed AI tracks made up 10% of daily uploads last year and over 50% in July, with roughly 90,000 new tracks added each day.
Why it matters
Music fans who prefer human‑made songs will soon be able to exclude AI‑generated content from their Deezer experience.
