Hark launches free AI assistant Hark Pro with privacy focus

Hark's new personal assistant lets users control email, calendar and files while showing a live view of its web actions.

Hark, a startup founded less than a year ago by Brett Adcock, released Hark Pro on Oct 6, 2026. The service is free to use, with a paid tier for heavy users. Hark Pro is a full‑screen AI assistant that can read and act on a user’s email, calendar, hard drive and credit‑card info. It shows a small window of any web navigation it performs, a design choice meant to build trust. The company says the model is trained specifically for computer tasks, aiming for speed and lower cost.

Why it matters

If the live‑view feature convinces users, they may feel safer sharing personal data with an AI assistant.
