IBM announced a self‑hosted deployment for its Bob agentic development platform. The option lets companies run Bob inside on‑premises, private‑cloud, sovereign‑cloud or air‑gapped environments, keeping source code and data inside their own infrastructure. Customers must supply a supported model, such as Nvidia’s Nemotron or Poolside’s Laguna, or use a hybrid setup with external model services. IBM says the move helps firms meet data‑residency and security rules while keeping the same development experience.
