Manus AI announced on Oct 8 2026 that it has raised more than $500 million in its first funding round since Meta was forced to drop its acquisition. The round was led by private‑equity firm Boyu Capital and venture investor IDG Capital, with follow‑on money from existing shareholders Tencent, HSG and ZhenFund. Manus did not disclose its new valuation, though Bloomberg reported the deal could push it toward a $4 billion valuation. The cash will be used to prove scale, profitability and regulatory alignment in China.
Why it matters
The funding gives Manus the runway to grow its AI‑agent products in China despite recent regulatory setbacks.
