Robinhood announced that beginning next year its customers can trade certain U.S. equities 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends. At the same HOOD Summit, the firm unveiled AI-powered automated trading tools that let users build their own agents to run parts of a strategy around the clock. The changes extend the broker’s 24/5 trading feature launched in 2023 and add crypto perpetual futures to the app. Robinhood shares rose about 3% after the news.
