Amazon says Amazon Quick now offers smart approvals, a review layer for actions its agents take on a user’s behalf. A separate model checks each eligible action against the user’s request, approving routine steps automatically and sending consequential ones to the user.
The feature only reviews actions already set to “ask” for approval; it does not grant new access or override denied actions. It is on by default, but administrators can control access and users can turn it off for conversations and scheduled runs. AWS CloudTrail records reviews and changes to the setting.
Why it matters
Amazon Quick users may see fewer prompts for routine agent tasks, while administrators retain controls over access and higher-impact actions still go to people.
