Amazon SageMaker Studio now lets newcomers register with Google, GitHub or Apple credentials. The sign‑up creates a fully configured Studio workspace without needing an AWS account, credit card or console navigation. Users receive free AWS Free Tier credits and can start fine‑tuning, evaluating and deploying foundation models right away. Teams can invite members by email, who also log in with their social accounts and share notebooks, models and endpoints. When the free credits run out, users can switch to a paid plan and set a spend limit.

Why it matters

It lowers the barrier for hobbyists and small teams to experiment with large AI models on AWS.
