Marvell Technology, Microsoft and Oracle announced a new working group under the Open Compute Project’s Security Track. The group will create open specifications for an integrated hardware security module that meets NIST FIPS 140‑3 Level 3 standards. The goal is to make that security level available across cloud and hyperscale data‑center hardware. The effort is coordinated through the OCP community.
