AI security startup Reco announced a $55 million funding round, led in part by AT&T’s venture arm. The cash will be used to add more app integrations, hire staff and boost sales as companies discover large numbers of unseen AI agents in their networks. Reco’s platform now maps agents to apps, people and permissions, letting security teams spot and block unnecessary access.

The raise follows a February Series B of $30 million and brings Reco’s total capital to $140 million.

Why it matters

It gives enterprises a way to locate and control hidden AI agents, lowering the risk of data leaks and unauthorized actions.
