Snowflake announced the public preview of Cortex AI Gateway, a centralized control plane for enterprise AI workloads. It offers one endpoint for all model calls, dynamic routing to cheaper or more capable models, and built‑in observability, security guardrails and cost controls. Platform teams can grant model access, set policies and see usage in Snowflake’s existing role‑based access control system. Developers simply point their agents to a new base URL and token.
