Destro AI has emerged from stealth with an $8 million seed round to build software that coordinates warehouse workers, carts and robots. Rather than making robots, the company says its systems direct the whole logistics workflow.
At Yusen Logistics, three Miva Robotics cart-moving robots are being used in a cross-dock pilot. Destro says the software helps route full carts as workers unload and sort goods; Yusen is expanding the pilot to 26 robots and starting another with 17 in Southern California.
