Riskified adds tool to spot AI assistants behind online orders

Riskified's new Agent Identity Risk Intelligence can tell if a purchase or support request came from an AI assistant like Muse, and link it to a real consumer.

Riskified (NYSE: RSKD) announced a new feature called Agent Identity Risk Intelligence. The tool looks at an online order or a customer‑service request and tries to identify the AI personal assistant that generated it, such as Muse. It then matches the assistant to the actual shopper and sends a real‑time risk signal to the merchant. The capability extends Riskified’s existing fraud platform to cover the consumer’s own AI agents.

Why it matters

Merchants can better detect fraudulent orders that are placed by bots masquerading as shoppers, reducing chargebacks.
