The AI agent is being rolled out to a waitlist of U.S. customers. DoorDash says the tool is meant to cut down the steps of opening the app, searching menus, and checking out. At the same time, the company is testing delivery drones with a few restaurants in Northern California, but that pilot is separate from the messaging feature.
