Amazon Connect Customer now supports versioning and aliasing for flows and flow modules. You can create fixed versions of a flow and give each a readable name, or alias. Resources like queues and phone numbers can point to an alias instead of a specific version. Updating a flow then means changing the alias once, without republishing each resource.
The feature is live in every AWS Region where Amazon Connect Customer is offered.
Why it matters
Enterprises can test new customer‑experience flows without disrupting live calls, then switch all traffic to the new version with a single update.
