Cisco unveiled a set of AI and hardware upgrades for its Webex collaboration suite at the WebexOne conference in Austin. The updates let AI agents join chats, schedule meetings, take notes and translate, and introduce Anthropic’s Claude as a managed agent. New hardware like the Ceiling Speaker Pro and RoomOS 27 will support AI‑driven audio and video control. Cisco says a Dialog layer will let agents keep customer context across interactions, with beta release planned for Q1 2027.
